Formal and Informal Ways of Learning English - Interview with a Polyglot

If someone asked you how many things you do to develop your English language skills, how many items would there be on your list?

The most common way of improving a language skill is to start taking formal lessons, but there are many informal ways of learning and practising English that you might not be aware of.

In this week's video, I interview my polyglot friend and colleague Heriberto Díaz, Head of Languages at CIDE, a top Latin American think tank, on the topic of language learning. Watch as we discuss the many creative ways Heriberto has adopted to continue developing his many language skills!

What concrete, informal, everyday actions, from the ones he mentions, can you take and implement in your own life to become more confident and fluent in English? See you in the comments on YouTube, where you can practise your writing skills!

For more support, schedule a complimentary Consultation call on zoom to speak one-to-one with me or my team about your own English journey. My English training program is designed to help professionals like you deepen your understanding and expand the way you learn and use English. It includes practising it for functional purposes, and beyond that, to use it for mental processes that lead to self-discovery, insight and wisdom.

See you on Zoom!
