How Did English Become Today's Global Language of Business? An English History and Vocabulary Lesson


 It's often the case that we get so caught up in (an idiom meaning to become involved in or preoccupied by something, or to be completely busy or absorbed in something) the urgency of our daily activities or in the pointless scrolling on social media, that we don't grant ourselves the time to enjoy and learn from content that helps us understand - in this case - a fascinating link between the past and the present.
